Policies

I am a firm believer in using policies to play fair. If you choose to book with me you must agree with these policies. 

Booking Policy

When you decide to enquire about a tattoo please do so once you are ready to pay your booking fee. This fee will vary depending on how much time I estimate to take, but as a general rule:

Over 2 hours: £50

Under 2 hours: £30

*Prices are in line with April '23 pricing structure

This fee will be deducted from your final balance once we have completed your tattoo. 

​

When you book in, please have plenty of 'inspiration' for me to see. Feel free to give a back story of why you chose the design if you think it will help me design your tattoo. I do not copy other tattooists work, I will always draw my own version based on your inspiration. Make sure you enjoy my style because I can't make it someone else's!

I get asked to quote designs based on almost no information on a weekly basis - please send me all the info.

​

 Basics that I need are:

- Inspiration photos/  clear references

- Size.  If you don't have a ruler, use something universal to gauge the size! Examples: 2p, £10 note, lighter, coke can, debit card, toothbrush.

Finish - black and grey, colour, etched, outline.

Location - this affects pricing, some areas are more difficult to tattoo.

*Pictures aren't enough for me to gauge size because a) we are all different sizes to each other and b) all screen sizes on devices are different :)

Once we have agreed on a plan and your booking fee is paid, you won't hear from me until closer to the time when I touch base in the days leading up to the appointment .

*Please note that I do not send out artwork in advance. I am happy to book an extra consultation space with you if you feel you need to go over things, but I prefer to draw immediately before you come in, and I prefer to discuss your design in person on the day of the appointment. I can send concepts in advance, but not designs.

I know that this is not to everyone's taste, but this is how I prefer to work artistically, so that it how it must be.

Cancellation policy

I draw your design in the the days leading up to your appointment. Your drawing cost is incorporated into your hourly rate when you book a tattoo - however my time spent drawing is protected by the booking fee you pay when you book.

This means that, as in my Booking Policy, once I have created your design you essentially purchase it via the booking fee which is non-refundable once I have drawn up.

 

If you show up on the day and get the tattoo, you pay the extra outstanding balance equal to how long your tattoo took, minus booking fee which is already paid. The booking fee is a part-payment of your final bill.

Any quote given is for both the tattoo and the booking fee combined. Final balance, however, is based on time taken on the day. I only ever give 'guesstimates' in my quotes because often, time taken actually depends on you, and how you behave in the chair. The only exception to this is my flash designs that are displaying set prices.

I am happy to reschedule once and transfer your booking fee, but any rearrangements after that would have to have a new booking fee put down. please make sure you can 100% make a date to avoid having to do this. 

​

If you cancel your tattoo later than 48 hours prior to your appointment then you will have to pay 50% of your quote to re-book.

 

I do always try my best to fill your spot however, and if I do manage to then I would not charge you this fee. It only exists to ensure I get paid my wage for the time you booked me for - if someone else pays it I wouldn't expect you to as well. I usually have a waiting list so contact me as soon as possible so we can make arrangements.

If I feel that we don't align during the booking or designing process then it is possible that I may just

recommend you to try elsewhere, at that point any fees paid would be refunded. 

​

If I am not able to make your appointment  due to sickness or emergency then I would do my best to rearrange for the earliest available slot. If we don't  find any other suitable days and times then any fees paid would be refunded.
